The play in Mácsai's direction, time-honored and refreshed at the same time, based on both theatrical and circus traditions, is a comedy not obscuring the freakishness of the mankind, nonetheless humane. It aims at forgetting one's manners; at the conversion due to which - when ants are in your pants, when you are stimulated by interests, when vengeance offers itself and some trap goes snap - everyone becomes someone else in a minute.

The value of the production - in addition to the intention to widen views - is in the rich details, the embellished and unravelled states of affairs, the perfectly created situations; as the scenes following each other in a well-composed order are exciting not only because the things they are about but also because of the play of the actors finely refined together, combined with humor now grotesque, now intellectual - the style Örkény Theatre has built, achieved with hard work in the past years. The performance is also about this team-building work, not to mention the unquestionable results of Mácsai's seven years at the theatre.

The performance ensures a permanent guffawing for more than three hours.
